A table variety with an early ripening period (ranging from 116 to 125 days). The concentration of fruiting shoots is 70-85%. Indicators of abundance of fruiting are high and amount to 13-16 tons / hectare.

The hybrid grape variety Codrianka has other features. For example, an incredibly harmonious yet simple taste. When eating berries, the obtrusive skin is not felt. When the fruits ripen, a rapid decrease in acidity is observed. The variety has excellent indicators of frost resistance, so the crop can be harvested at the first frost. The plant is able to withstand temperatures of -22-26 degrees.

The Codrianka grape has large fruits

Under unfavorable environmental factors, the variety is capable of peas. Experienced gardeners are convinced that all grape varieties are prone to peas. On some brushes, up to 25-30% of small berries can be found. Of course, this spoils the home look, but if the harvest is intended exclusively for the family, there is nothing to worry about.

Note:Peas are small in size, have a more pleasant sweetish taste, the concentration of sugar in them is much higher and they ripen faster.

The Kodryanka variety is characterized by abundant and stable fruiting, excellent frost resistance, as well as good resistance to diseases and pathogenic / pathogenic microorganisms. The berries have a pleasant taste and presentation, and are well tolerated over long distances.

Important! This grape variety was bred for food. It can be added to marinades or compotes when preserved.

As for the preparation of juice and wine, it is better not to use Codreanka for these purposes. Berries are excellent for drying in compote.Grape vinegar is prepared from the berries; for this, the required amount of acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) is added.

Codrianka grapes: planting and care

Codryanka grapes are not picky about the soil, which greatly facilitates its cultivation. It quickly adapts to environmental conditions and is able to grow, develop on almost any plot of land. The plant is propagated using annual seedlings. An equally popular method is grafting a seedling onto an already mature bush.

Advice! The most favorable time for planting the variety is late autumn. The stalk can be grafted at any time of the year.

Before planting, you must first prepare the pit, its width should not be too large. The soil, enriched with fertilizers, is added to the pit, and the root system of the seedling is carefully straightened. To prevent the seedling from being injured, it must be tied to a support and watered abundantly for the first 3-4 days after planting.

Grape seedling

When planting by grafting, the seedling is waxed, and its lower part is placed in the "Humate" composition. The stem is carefully chopped and the handle is placed in the hole, tightened tightly with a cloth and abundantly treated with clay.

Proper care of this plant is the key to a rich and high-quality harvest. The variety is hygrophilous, therefore it needs regular watering. A young bush will need 3 buckets of water, and an adult - at least 6.

Bushes must be mulched so that moisture is retained at the root system. For this, humus or peat is used; it is advisable to carry out the manipulation in early spring or autumn. If you perform the procedure in the summer, the likelihood of rhizome overtaking or rotting increases. The first few years after planting, the plants must be carefully covered for the winter and spud, despite their frost resistance. It is recommended to make protection from hay or straw.

Additional Information! The Codrianka grape variety does not need fertilization, since it will have enough of those nutrients that will enter the soil after mulching.

Only once a year is it worth feeding the plant; after the spring digging, the soil can be fertilized with mineral or organic substances. The composition must be evenly distributed along the entire circumference of the bush.

In the first years after planting, there is no need to prune the bushes, because it can grow and develop on its own with minimal outside help. As soon as the bushes begin to bear fruit, gardeners recommend removing young shoots. This is necessary so that the plant was less vulnerable during severe frosts. As the plant grows older, it is advisable to prune dry cuttings and those that do not bear fruit. Thanks to pruning, the gardener has the opportunity to direct the growth of the bush in the direction he needs.

Codryanka grapes on the vine

For the prevention of diseases and the attack of pathogenic / pathogenic organisms, the plant must be sprayed with special compounds. This grape variety is resistant to disease, so it will be enough to use standard preparations. To prevent rodents from damaging the bush in winter, it must be tied with a spruce tree and covered with earth.

Important! Pruning should be short - 2-3 eyes. Leave at least 3-4 on the top of the cutting.

If you leave a lot more, the berries will be small. They will not lose their taste, but at the same time the likelihood of developing a fungal infection will increase (in a large bush, poor air ventilation and clusters begin to rot).

Advantages and disadvantages of the variety

Vineyards have found a lot of advantages in this variety, while it has practically no disadvantages.

The advantages of a Moldovan hybrid:

  • Excellent taste.
  • Presentation: naturally attractive appearance increases the demand for the product.
  • Long-term storage.
  • Excellent indicators of frost resistance.
  • Possibility of transportation.
  • Resistance to diseases and microorganisms.
  • Consistently high yield rates.

Regular and proper care allows you to eliminate the negative manifestations of culture.

Important! It was noted by the growers that if the crop blooms in a cold spring, then the bunches are likely to give a pea effect. The berries on the brushes will be small.

The Codrianka grape variety is so popular with many due to its large number of positive properties. It is unpretentious and at the same time bears fruit abundantly, it is characterized by good resistance to aggressive environmental factors.
