Characteristics and description of the tomato variety Boni M, based on these criteria:

1. The bush is of a deterministic type. After the formation of up to 3-4 brushes from the main stem, it stops growing. A small bush is formed, the height of which is no more than 50 cm;
2. Ripens at the end of the third month after germination. Taking into account the germination period, if the seeds are planted in the soil at the beginning of the first decade of April, then at the end of June the bush will give a bountiful harvest of ripe tomatoes. The variety is classified as ultra-ripening. Abundant inflorescences are formed at the end of the stem and lateral shoots. The plant is self-pollinated. On the 20th day after the formation of ovaries, the tomatoes ripen;

3. The fruits of tomatoes are bright red, have a flat-rounded shape, slightly ribbed, not large. The weight of one fruit is on average 50-60 g. In taste, it is not inferior to the best varieties of late ripening. They have a rich tomato flavor with moderate acidity and sufficient tomato sweetness. Like all early vegetables, they are most commonly used as food. Boni MM tomatoes have a dense skin, so they can be canned.

The yield of early low-growing tomato varieties ranges from 1 to 5 kg per bush. Boney on average gives 12-14 kg per 1 m2, but with proper cultivation and in the southern growing zones, up to 20 kg can be removed from 1 m2.

If we talk about the resistance of this variety to unfavorable climatic conditions, then we can say that it is perfectly adapted to the weather conditions of the Central European zone. In case of possible cold snaps and spring frosts on the soil, the plant does not die. Growth may slow down, but it does not lose strength. With sufficient thermal conditions, it develops rapidly.

Yield

Tomato Boni M is characterized by rapid development and early maturation, during the period when late blight did not gain its biological activity. Therefore, he is not afraid of this unfavorable disease of Solanaceous vegetable crops. Additional processing of plants is not required. This is important for the ecological quality of the crop.

Agricultural technology of cultivation

The breeders of this variety made sure that the agricultural technology of its cultivation was simple.It gives good yields with minimal labor and material costs for growing. But some features must be taken into account:

1. Choosing a place. Like most early ripening varieties of tomatoes, Bonnie M is intended for growing in open ground, therefore, areas that are well warmed by the sun are chosen for them. The best for this will be the southern and southwestern slopes, sheltered from the northerly winds. The area where potatoes and eggplants were grown last season is not used. Harmful biological elements can accumulate in it, which will adversely affect the painless development of tomato plants. The beds are best done on the site of last year's cultivation of onions, garlic, cucumbers, all varieties of cabbage and legumes, as well as pumpkins, zucchini and all root crops. The soil should be fertilized with potash and nitrogen fertilizers;

2. Seed preparation. The seed producer guarantees their high quality. Therefore, no special pre-sowing preparation is required. The seeds are pre-disinfected and nutritiously processed. But if seed material made from last year's period is used, then it is imperative to reject it. Fill them with water, high-quality seeds will remain at the bottom, and immature seeds will float to the surface. The soaking procedure is always effective, but it should not last more than 12 hours;

3. Planting. This variety of tomatoes from the manufacturer's bags can be sown with seeds directly into the soil in early April. The row spacing is 30 cm, the distance between the holes is 50 cm. Place up to 3 seeds in each hole. Drizzle with warm water at least 25 ° C;

4. After the seeds sprout and gain strength, you can leave up to two plants side by side in the hole;

5. Watering should be moderate. In a humid climate, it may be completely absent, but drying out of the soil is extremely undesirable;

6. It is not necessary to make supports and tie up plants. The strong stem and root system, the spreading shape of the bush make it stable.

Despite the fact that the Boni M tomato variety is recommended by the creators for open ground, it is also possible to grow seedlings from seeds. Seeds are sown two weeks earlier, that is, in the third decade of March. Seedlings are grown, and then they are planted in open soil or greenhouse soil. This technique makes sense only for the northern regions, when the soil may still be frozen in early April. The experience of gardeners in central Russia and more southern regions shows that plants sown in open soil are stronger. They quickly catch up with seedlings, and fruiting begins at the same time, that is, at the end of June.
