Note! Roses are distinguished by good resistance to adverse weather conditions, precipitation. The buds do not fade in the sun. Petals do not fall from rain.

Almost all Tantau plants were grafted onto modern species of rose hips without additional root growth. Thus, rose seedlings have strong, developed roots. The shoots of the bushes are powerful, covered with a wax coating.

Growing conditions

They choose places for planting Tantau roses, depending on the varieties. Some prefer sunny, well-lit areas, others like partial shade. In any case, the sites must be reliably protected from winds and drafts.

Important! Tantau roses do not tolerate high humidity. It is necessary to avoid lowlands, as well as places with a close occurrence of groundwater.

Plants prefer light, fertile, breathable, loose, neutral or slightly acidic soil (loam).

Training

Usually Tantau mix roses grow on one flower bed for a lifetime. Therefore, you need to prepare the ground. Lay the topsoil separately.

Note! If roses are planted along the paths, they dig trenches instead of a pit.

They mix the dug earth with rotted manure (6-10 kg, you can take horse manure), wood ash (300-500 gr.). If the soil is heavy, add sand (1 part to 3 parts of soil with manure).

Plants are planted, leaving a space of at least 1 meter between them.

Most often, the shoots of purchased plants are covered with a wax film. It is necessary to remove it by dipping the seedlings into cold water.

24 hours before planting, the rose roots are immersed in the stimulating solution. Use Kornevin, Heteroauskin, Epin. Then the seedlings are cut by 1/3.

Prepare a place for planting in autumn or spring (2-3 weeks before the start of work).

Landing

Dig a pit 60 cm deep and 60 cm wide. Fill the hole (2/3) with prepared soil (slide).

Note! The roots of the acquired seedlings are usually surrounded by a nutritious soil fixed with a net. When they are immersed in the solution, the mesh is not removed.

Set us in the middle of the hole, the seedling along with the mesh, cover it with the remaining earth, compact it. Water the bush, spud.

Important! Deepen the vaccination site below ground level by 6-7 centimeters.

Care

3 weeks after the mix rose bushes have been planted, it is necessary to shake off the spilled soil from the plants. A rather high roller should be made of it around the seedlings at a distance of 10 cm.

Then water the plants abundantly. They take settled water. The bushes are irrigated regularly, avoiding waterlogging. Puddles should not form next to the seedlings.

Then water the plants abundantly.

Watered adult specimens 2 times / month. Increase watering in hot, dry weather and during flowering. All watering activities are carried out in the evening after sunset.

Pruning roses, as well as further care for the Tantau rose, depends on the varieties. Throughout the season, plants are systematically weeded from weeds, loosened up the earth, mulched with peat or dry humus.

In temperate climates as well as cold areas, it is necessary to cover roses for the winter. Usually, the lower parts of the plants are covered with earth or sprinkled with foliage, hay, mulch. The branches are bent, covered with spruce branches, wrapped in non-woven material, on top with a film.
